If you require a guided tour, there are two options available: in addition to the regular evening tours at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays in the State Collections of Antiquities and on Thursdays in the Glyptothek (→ Events Calendar), special tours for private groups can also be booked at the museums on Königsplatz for a fee.
Special tours for private groups (up to 60 minutes) are offered for €100 plus the admission price. Longer tours or curator-led tours may incur higher fees. This must be discussed with us on a case-by-case basis. Special topic requests must also be specified in advance. The use of a tour guide system may also increase the cost.

Private Groups
Kultursalon+
Since July 2023, we have been participating in the Kultursalon+ programme sponsored by Beisheim Stiftung together with five other museums.
Guided tour of the Glyptothek (barrier-free) or Antiquities Collection (NOT barrier-free) and discussion in the café: twice a month on Fridays at 2 p.m. or for groups on other weekdays. Please enquire when booking which of the buildings the tour will take place in.
You are invited!
- Participation in KulturSalon+ is free of charge (free ticket).
- The programme is aimed at senior citizens who only have a small pension or who would like to have more contact with others. If you are only able to attend with an accompanying person, they are also welcome.
- All KulturSalon+ programmes are tailored to the needs of older people. They take place in small groups.
- Some of the activities are accessible to people with disabilities. Please contact us if you require assistance on site (e.g. wheelchairs). Transport costs can also be covered if participation would otherwise not be possible – please enquire about this when booking.
- The short tour and coffee and cake last approximately 1.5 hours in total.
- The programme content changes weekly. Multiple participation is possible.
- Registration is required. Please register at least four working days before the desired date.
